Off to the Montana we Go!
So something happened that I never though would happen, my family and I are moving to the mainland and out of ALASKA! Say what?!!! So my husband got an amazing job opportunity and approached me about it a little under a month ago. I told him I would love the chance to move back to Montana (went to the University of Montana), and tried to contain my excitement. Western Montana is similar to the regions of Alaska and its still has the beauty and wilderness we love. I will miss the ocean and my family, but, the thought of being able to drive more than 40 miles is a bit exciting. Its a big undertaking and a lot of changes are going to be happening. The girls will start new schools and the we'll have to start all over and make new friends and a new life. So I am excited to see what the next few months have in store and I am sure that the Glasser girls and Chris will be alright.

Busty girl problems
With the weather fluctuating between drizzle and downpour, and the days shortening, I went to the Rec center to run. I was going to get into the cardio room and use the machines, but every single machine was full. Then I was going to work out in the weight room, but it was also really full with lifters. So I ran on the track instead, but I felt really self conscious. Living so remotely and being a "curvy" gal has given me some challenges. Pre baby I was able to purchase workout clothes and had some luck finding the proper sports bras. Unfortunately post baby,my body has changed once again, I haven't had much luck finding workout clothes that fit properly. I have found that it is hard to find clothes that are good for high impact workouts and finding sports bras has been near impossible. Its as if athletic clothing designers think only skinny small chested girls are active and run. I have to say it is not much fun wearing 3 or 4 bras just to run and not get knocked out by your own chest. Its painful, uncomfortable and often leaves my shoulders and rib cage sore and marked up not to mention, it feel like everyone is staring at me. Which is why I love running in the cold weather outside. I can layer up and wear big shirts or a wind breaker and I don't feel as exposed. If I had the talent for sewing or design, I'd make my own bras. So athletic clothing companies, don't forget us naturally large chested ladies! We would love to workout without wearing 148 bras.

Family Fun!
So, you may or may not know I live in Alaska, southeast Alaska to be exact. It rains, a lot. So I was able to find some great things to do with the family, we went to the pumpkin "patch" and had family movie night with the kids. I watched a movie with the hubby after the kids went to bed, and of course Sunday means football. While the my husband watched football I met up with some local moms (and one dad) and we had a kids' clothing swap. It was great to meet up with local moms, let our babies crawl around and swap clothes we didn't need for items we did.
My diet has been bang on too! We had roasted chicken and veggies for Sunday dinner and I have a ton of left overs for healthy salads, soups and sandwiches for the coming week. I didn't see any movement on the scale, but I am feeling hopeful and optimistic. So here's to a great third week of Ocotober and I hope things keep on a positive note.

My troubling Sweet Tooth
So, I am a sugar addict. I admit it, I love sugar. I crave it, and its derailing my clean eating attempt. I know you'd say grab a piece of fruit, but the issue is, I do! I eat apples, bananas, grapes, carrots, all to satisfy the sugar monster inside. I have upped my Shakeology consumption, I know drink two shakes a day, in between meals as a snack, and I have also upped my water intake to help. Everything I have read on sugar detoxing state that you should quit cold turkey, no sugar whatsoever, and you'll have cravings for up to 2 weeks.
How does one get rid of sugar (processed sugar) when it is in literally everything at the store? Maybe by trying to quit sugar (I hate/love you sugar) its back firing and causing me to binge on it? So I should maybe focus less on trying to quit sugar and just eat as clean as possible. This should dramatically decrease the amount of sugar I am consuming a day.
